On December 18th, an earthquake measuring 6.2 struck Jishishan County, Linxia Prefecture, Gansu Province, causing severe damage to the local people. In the face of the disaster, the people of all ethnic groups in the country have united as one and started rescue promptly. On December 26th, in order to support the post-earthquake reconstruction in Jishishan, China Bester Group’s labor union held a donation ceremony, and staff at all levels of the group company and subsidiaries responded to the donation. On December 28th, China Bester Group donated 1.42 million yuan to the Gansu Provincial Charity Federation. Li Zhixun, President of the Gansu Provincial Charity Federation, attended the donation ceremony and issued the certificate. Yan Luming, General Manager of the Gansu Division of China Bester Group, attended the ceremony on behalf of the company. 

After the earthquake, no sooner had China Bester Group learned about the disaster situation in Jishishan County than it paid close attention to the victims and infomation in earthquake area, and initiated emergency plans immediately. Bester worked together with Gansu Mobile to organize technology backbone troop stationed in the area to participate in the emergency rescue to ensure communication. On the other hand, it called on all staff to lend a hand and provide assistance to the affected areas.

At the donation ceremony, Mr. Li Liubing, the chairman of the company, took the lead in donation. Mr. Li said, "We are deeply saddened by the earthquake in Jishishan County. When disaster struck, help came from all sides. As a socially responsible enterprise, we hope to provide some help to the people in the disaster area through donation, so that they can feel the love of the society, get out of the trouble as soon as possible, and rebuild their homes.

The major regions, divisions, project departments, international subsidiaries, Tianjin Designing Institute of Post and Telecommunications, China Bester Intelligent Technology, China Bester Optoelectronic Technology, Zhechu Energy and other subsidiaries of the group have responded to the call and participated in the donation.
